A graduated approach to learning
The School Day
From September 2023 our school day will be changing. The government has issued new guidelines that schools must follow and ensure that their school day meets these new guidelines. In order for us to meet this we need to extend our school day slightly.
For school aged children, they can come into the classroom from 8.40am with school starting at 8.45am ensuring a calm and welcoming start to the day, providing time for parents to chat to the teacher and support staff.
The day finishes at 3.20pm with lunch provided by the onsite catering team from 11.30am.
The school day is 6 hours 35 minutes long which equates to 32.55 hours a week Monday - Friday.
Children using the breakfast and after school club will be accompanied to and from the club during school hours. Breakfast Club starts at 07.45am and Afterschool Club finishes at 17.45pm.
For nursery children sessions are:
Morning: 9am -12pm including lunch which can be a packed lunch from home or you can purchase a school lunch.
Afternoon: 12 – 3pm
The nursery doors will open at 8.45am to enable a calm staggered start to the day.
Children can stay for the whole day including lunch 9am – 3pm.
