Welcome to a world of opportunity at Roundswell Community Primary Academy
Roundswell Community Primary Academy is a growing school which opened in September 2020, welcoming our first cohort of children. We will continue to grow each year until we reach our capacity.
We welcome children to join our school from the age of three years in our nursery.
We work together with children, families and staff to create a happy, safe and stimulating setting where children are motivated to learn together. We have high expectations for learning & behaviour and this is consistently encouraged and taught to all pupils.
Our School Values are:
Respect and Responsibility
Collaboration and Curiosity
Perseverance and Positivity
Ambition and Aspiration
Our values are at the core of everyday school life in order to create a safe and happy environment, filled with kindness, where all of our school community can thrive and all are included.
We are proud of the positive relationships that we have with our families and the wider community. We understand that parents and carers wish to take on an active role in their child’s education and it is our aim to work in partnership to deliver the highest standards of education for all our pupils.
RCPA is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We work in partnership with families and external agencies to ensure our children are safe from harm.
We look forward to welcoming you and your family into our school community.

At Roundswell Community Primary Academy, we will strive to provide a caring but disciplined environment in which we hope your child will fulfil their potential and develop a positive attitude to learning. We will provide a broad, balanced and challenging curriculum, as well as many extra-curricular opportunities. Each child is unique and our aim is that the school recognises this through the many opportunities that will be available to children both inside and outside the classroom.
We will aim to work in partnership with you. The role of a parent is critical in a child’s early years, and so we hope to work with you and your family to develop your child’s potential. We will provide highly trained and committed staff and cheerful, well-displayed classrooms that are conducive to effective teaching and learning, in a modern, purpose built, 21st-century school.
Academic, sporting and artistic performance are important, but just as important are the values that go with it. We aim to be a highly inclusive school, which seeks to promote good manners and a consideration and understanding of others within our locality and the wider world.
