The children in Reception have been learning about Remembrance day. They talked about and thought about the soldiers and why we wear poppies at this time of year. They decorated poppies using different materials and watched the CBeebies animation. https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b04p4zsl/poppies

This week in Reception, the children have been learning about 'size and weight.' They have enjoyed different stories about measures too. They have measured the length of different objects, measured our heights and used balance scales to investigate the weight of different objects. They have used these words: enormous, heaviest, longest, shortest, enormous, massive, huge.
